Four floors, one staircase
Rez-de-chaussée
The ground floor welcomes you with the dining room and a very well equipped kitchen: Smeg fridge, gas stove, oven. Its heart is the exposed rock face at the back. It gives the kitchen its unique character and cools it naturally in summer.
Première étage
One flight up is the salon with access to the balcony and a view of the church square. Next to it, the first bathroom: two basins and a tub with rain shower.
Deuxième étage
The second bedroom with a queen-size box-spring bed and built-in wardrobe: quiet, bright, overlooking the square in front of the church.
Sous le toit
At the very top: the master bedroom with exposed roof beams and its own bathroom with a freestanding tub. From up here the view stretches far across the Luberon.
The patio sits sheltered between old walls, planted with roses and hydrangeas: an oasis of calm in the middle of the village. Breakfast and long dinners happen under the almond tree; later, the pool and terrace light up beautifully for the evening.
Le Village
No tourist backdrop, but a living village community: two bakeries, a butcher, three restaurants, two bars, all a few steps from the front door. Market on Place Gambetta every Tuesday, and above it all the 11th-century château ruin.

We had the best time at Mathias' beautiful home in Provence. The house is old with unique features like original tiles, exposed rock and wood beams, but has been impeccably renovated to provide all the modern comforts. The pool is private and a fantastic way to cool off.
The house is beautiful, light and airy with real character. The beds were super comfortable with soft cotton sheets. We really enjoyed the back garden and plunge pool: there was always a shady area to sit and eat, read and play cards. The village itself was gorgeous.
This was our third visit. The house and location never disappoint. This is one of the best villages in the region for hiking, and there are many excellent restaurants. St-Saturnin-lès-Apt is a gem.
An 18th century town house with 21st century comfort in a charming French village. Several very good restaurants within walking distance, and plenty of short day trips to other lovely villages in the Luberon.
Wonderful spot in a quiet town in Provence. The house is very comfortable, located in the heart of town, walking distance to all of the sights and a quick drive to several other towns in the area.
I absolutely love this home. This is my second time staying here and I had a whole month to enjoy the house, its kitchen, the pool and the lovely surroundings. A boulangerie, a butcher, a wine bar and a restaurant right outside the door.
Nina and Mathias have shaped the house over many years and share it when they are not there themselves. On site you are welcomed by Audrey, who knows the house and the best addresses in the village and across the Luberon.
